Day 21

It does all go by so damn fast, doesn't it?
Experimenting with layers and filters.

Day 20

First outdoor meal of the season. Woohoo. and, yes, I am wearing a turtleneck...

Day 19

OK, this is a little cheat, but I hate being behind. This is part of a series I shot to experiment with glamour work. I hope to start my own family portrait studio, and have a glamour side as well - i.e. shots of women, for the women themselves. I think everyone should have at least one picture of themselves looking very, very hot. Not necessarily showing lots of skin, discreet and dignified, but deeply sexy...

Day 18 (A little late...)

Oops. Yesterday was deeply deeply hectic. But today, I have a little view of hell in the rear view mirror...
(Yes, our car really is that dirty)

Day 17

Idea stolen from the open-mouthed crocodile in the negative challenge. Scary...

Day 16

OK, this is a holding place, as my challenge entry is unavailable until next Monday. and I was way too busy today to even pick up my camera. And I want to go to bed now.

There, was it worth waiting for? ;-p

Day 15

A cold and grey day out there. The old saying goes - a blonde, a book and bed. Well, I have all those, although possibly not in the spirit originally meant...

Day 14

We have lift off!

Day 13

A bit pale and grainy today...

Day 12, mark II

There, a real one for today.

Day 12

This is a bit of a cheat, as I took this a while ago. but this is not a good day, so I don't know if I'll get anything properly done. So, for now, that's it. Cross fingers things will be better tomorrow.

Day 11, Mark II

Being super keen today! Avoidance tactics? nah. I like my kitchen looking like this...

Day 11

How did I pay for art supplies in University? Modelling, as so many do. Hey, $10/ hour in the late 80s/early 90s? Pretty damn good. And it was like getting extra lessons, and being paid to go.

Day 10

It's amazing what levels and contrast can do to a paretty sucky picture. Shot in my tiny bathroom, with no proper light, 15 minutes ago. Pretty cool.
It snowed here today. Last week I wore capri trousers and docksiders with no socks. What is with this weather?

Day 9

This is what my family thinks I look like.

Monday, April 17, 2006

Day 8

Job Security?
Some jobs have pretty shitty perks.

Sunday, April 16, 2006

Day 7

Not so hot, this one. It's late, I have a sugar hangover, and I want to go to bed. So, I'll do better tomorrow...

Day 6

A slice of the old brain showing the MS lesions. And, no, my brain hasn't been invaded by Bill Gates. I'm very lucky to have few physical symptoms so far. The mind, however, is not what it was. I actually had one Doctor tell me I should feel lucky that I was so high functioning to begin with that any reduction in my cognitive abilities wouldn't affect my daily living. Uh-huh. Would he feel lucky if he weren't quite so smart? Somehow, I doubt it. I'm getting used to it. I make lots of lists. The dog has learned to bark to be let back in. Life goes on.

Day 5

Took the Sprog to an Easter Egg Hunt at the local Fire Hall. Chaos, toddlers running rampant. He came home, triumphant, with a bag of eggs. Bad Mummy, I put them away, to be doled out slowly. For his own good, of course. Not because I had this idea. Of course not.

Day 4

The early morning beast walk. Which is the beast? That's a hard one... Whichever, it's all a blur to me...
